Can anyone tell me the diameter of the c-clamp? I want the part that screws up to the bottom of the desk, as this would be mounted on the side of my desk where there isn't all that much overhang (2 inches). I'm guessing it would work, but would like some confirmation.

atomikuThe metal disc that secures it to the bottom is about 2.25 inches in diameter. That might be a little close so if you need me to get it exact let me know
