My computer won't detect the keyboard. Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue?

It just needed a new cable. The one that came in the package was broken.

Is this a low or high profile keyboard?
Not the lowest it can be. Has a little bit of a high profile lip

One of the best budget boards you can get, but can be found for cheaper elsewhere.

A bit of confusion with this, if you don't get the barebones version it comes with whatever switches you selected and the keycaps installed?

I doubt it it's probably a baggie of switches and keycaps

Someday the super-slim S60 kit will come back and I'll buy a half dozen, the last few 60% keyboards on Drop have been pretty unappealing. https://drop.com/buy/kbdfans-s60-mechanical-keyboard-diy-kit

This Drop is the GamaKay rebranded. You can find it on amazon a tad cheaper than buying it here. rip

you guys really need to fix the hot spots with the LED's. I would be all over this if it didn't look like christmas lights. move the lights closer to the center and let the diffuser do its job.

agreed but the hot spots are also on their more premium boards as well. just a preference bc I enjoy the boards but the hot spots kill it for me.

Bruh their "more premium" boards are a 65% for $70 and a TKL for $80 This is a budget brand that offers exceptional value to keyboard enthusiasts. You can pick up a board for less than $100 with hotswap, gat yellows, per-key RGB and no software required, and then take it all apart to lube it up for excellent sound and performance. You can also turn off the side-facing LEDs and let the ones under each switch do the illuminating for you, similar in effect to what you suggested! I have bought two K87s, so I'm pretty biased.

anyone think this is worth vs the Drop Carina?
Different boards with different price points! Both are pretty though :)
