1. Throw out the driver installation disk. 2. Navigate to the page located at the bottom of this comment (I have no idea why it's at the bottom) http://www.xduoo.com/xduoo/EnDownload.asp 3. Download the "TUSB_v2.23.0.rar" file. 4. Unzip the file, and navigate into the folder resulting from this process. 5. Run the "TUSBAudio_CustomizationKit_v2.23.0" file. 6. Once installed, navigate to *the location you specified*\DriverPackages\ and run the "XMOS_EVAL_KITS_DriverSetup_v2.23.0" file. 7. Congratulations! Take a deep breath and be relieved you didn't have to go through the 10 minute breakdown I did while figuring this out.
"Setup requires that the device is plugged in. Please connect the device you want to install and make sure it is turned on. If your device is currently connected, please unplug and replug it."
Also, is this on Windows 8 or 10? I wrote that guide for 8, and haven't gotten it to work for 10 yet (just haven't had the time). If I can get it working, I will update the appropriate comments.
Edit: I uninstalled on my work laptop Bc it's my work laptop... But I wanted to at least see if the DAC would work so I'm trying to reinstall but now I'm getting the same error message as my other laptops.... Arggg damn Chinese products
Does Windows detect the DAC/amp and attempt to look for a driver? I installed the driver after Windows failed to find a driver for it.
I even tried using the old version of the TUSBAudio Kit from xduoo's site.... same issue
I feel that I tried everything for my laptops to recognize the DAC... but no success... T__T
