Really enjoying the 5" santoku. It's the most used in my block as I use it as an all-purpose knife and only sub it out for a bread knife or 7" santoku for larger jobs.
The blade is beautiful and the edge has held up well though I usually only cut softer foods. I've only had to hone it and not sharpened it yet. No problems with rust. Fit and finish on the handle are good with no loose parts or cracks for food to get stuck in. Glad I joined the drop.

Just what I wanted
I'm not a professional chef and probably don't even need damascus knife, but... After receiving it I found myself at the kitchen table more often. You just want to keep using this knife.
What I like:
1) Balance. I can put this knife in my hand without folding my fingers and it just stays there. It means that cutting became more natural process as if the knife is now extension of your arm.
2) Sharpness. It comes pretty sharp, but I still had to sharpen it on wetstones and after that it remains sharp to this day, when with stainless still knife I would have to sharpen it two times in the same period of time.
3) Looks. Nothing states your interest to your guests better than a wavy pattern of damascus steel on the knife. Keep it on magnetic holder to please the eyes!
4) Price. It's not cheap, but not as expensive as some top brands out there. Bargain!

I bought the paring knife, cannot comment on other models. It is beautifully finished, blade is straight and thin, grind is even, arrived extremely sharp. Two reasons for deducted star:
- To me it is a little too handle-heavy (even though paring knives should be handle-heavy), making it feel a little awkward
- The corner of the blade where it transitions to the handle is sharp; this can make using it in-hand feel less safe than I'd like

Looks good and stays sharp
Bought the 5" santoku and have been using it nearly every day since. It looks great and has stayed sharp so far with regular honing. It is a bit heavier than expected, but I don't have any issues with the balance of it.
