So what if Amazon is a few dollars cheaper? Massdrop has saved me more than that on other drops, and I'd rather support a growing community like MD.

MeganitrospeedDrops are re-dropped based off of a number of requests by MD members. It's not a weekly thing (fact). It can be weekly thing if enough people request a re-drop. Older things may not get dropped due to logistics and companies just not wanting to work with MD. It's ignorant of someone to say that they simply do not care. Schiit won't work with MD for example.

I signed up a few days ago.
So far ive looked at this zippo which is 18.48 black ice w logo on amazon.
The free key system that is 9.00 on amazon for two sets of rings.
Exactly what is the appeal here? I dont get it.
I can find just about everything they are hocking cheaper. wtf

Well to be honest, Massdrop kind of loses its purpose when you can get the same item elsewhere for nearly the same price. Except, better shipping times, and you can buy anytime you want for that price.
I still have come across some amazing deals. Like the well known Sennheiser HD 6XX. I even saw a watch for sale for $300, and when I looked up what other sites were selling it for, it was well in the $600 and up range. But then I'll also find a watch for sale for $200, and then Amazon will have it for $210.
It just kinda gets annoying having to go price check everything all the time.

I still buy stuff from MD from pretty often. They still have a good deal from time to time. And I enjoy the daily newsletters, going through the new stuff every morning before work while I have my coffee. I'm mainly here for the mechkeys, but I look at pretty much everything. I like window shopping :D
I will miss MD when Amazon (inevitably) buys them ;)

You keep selling same kind of zippo over and over again! Please be creative and innovative. It is enough of Replicas, Brass, Solid Color, Antique Color and classic models. We'd love to see unique zippos. Thanks.
