Happy to see MD took the time to list the dimensions for each glass--even still, dimensions can be deceiving! For instance, the 10.8 oz "Water Glass" sounds large-ish by volume, but it's actually a tad short at 4.6" in height. So, while it might work for an eight-ounce can of what-have-you and a couple of ice cubes, it would never work as a beer or a highball glass.
For comparison, the photo below is of a pretty spacious Duralex glass that measures about 5 1/4" before overflowing. I consider that about the minimum for a Bloody Mary, but still a little under what I call a good Highball sized glass. The moral of the story is: ice is always the first ingredient to a good cocktail; give it the space it needs!
