Looking for a specific set of headphones

I'm looking for a set of headphones for a gift. They must be OVER EAR, with REMOVABLE CABLE and pads. They should also be LOW IMPEDANCE so no amp would be required. Last I think CLOSED BACK would be best and preferably not too bulky. Trying to keep it within the $100 range, but not set in stone on the price. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

Shure SRH440 meets your needs and has a signature that's not as dark and bassy as the m40x if you wanted an alternative sound sig (better mids and treble extension). They're equivalent to the legendary Sony MDR7506 but have removable cables, pads, are collapsible, very sturdy, etc.
Also forgot to mention AKG 240 and Focal Spirit One S premium are also very good alternatives. If you don't mind buying used, the Sennheiser HD 569/598Cs can be had for $100.

There is only one pair of headphones that comes to my mind that would match all of your requirements. The Audio Technica ATH-M40x.
They are over ear. Has a removable cable (package includes 2 cables) and you can also replace the earpads. Impedance is 47 ohms, so no need to worry about adding a headphone amp. They are closed back and their price is exactly $99 in Amazon right now!

Now if you'd be able to stretch your budget a little bit, you could get the ATH-M50x which are currently discounted at $139. This is a pair of headphones that I've owned in the past so can talk about it, unlike the M40x. But all in all either option would make a really nice gift without breaking the bank and still sound much better than most headphones around their price.

Hope it helps!

I only have takstar pro 82 as closed headphones that match above (got 2 from tomtop) ... But maybe Audio-Technica ATH-M40x are in that as well?
