Some of these pens, and at least a couple of these bottles of ink were actually purchased from Massdrop in the ancient Paleolithic period--just before they changed their name (and canned 90% of their loyal staff) and paired their categories (aka: "communities" ) down from infinity, to just two. The more observant among you will note the absences of the large, pullout drawer of keyboards missing in this shot. It ain't by accident.

I just came here to figure out what is going on with this site. They used to have a bunch of interesting stuff now it's insanely expensive keyboard caps. What gives? How could they not figure out how to be profitable on their other communities. The knife people throw cash around like crazy!

All good questions. Apparently the keycap crowd turned out to be the drunkest sailors in this port.

Announcement - Changes to Hidden Posts
Hey everyone, we are making some changes behind the scenes that I wanted to share with you all so you aren't caught off guard if you notice anything different. As you may be aware, we have a few different Moderation tools available to us to assist with moderation on the site. In an effort to increase transparency and minimize what could be perceived as egregious moderation, we will be changing the behavior of Hidden Posts, along with some accompanying changes to moderation procedures. Currently, a moderator can choose to hide an offending post, which effectively removes the content of the post/comment while leaving behind a message that the post was hidden. This behavior was selected in order to leave a public record of the removal. However, one concern with this methodology is that the user (and general public) has no feedback as to why the post was removed, nor any recourse to engage in a discussion regarding the decision. Going forward, there will be two potential paths that...

Diving with an old boy - SEIKO SKX013
Yes, It is summertime. Heat waves are already here and the sea is calling. It was time for an automatic adventurer that can decently deal with sea water, yachting, snorkeling and most kinds of summer activities, so I started looking for a mid-size diver's watch. 'Out there' I found several market options and budget solutions ( from brands like Vostok, Citizen, Invicta ) but the watch that really got my attention was the Seiko SKX013. A watch that many collectors seemed to refer as a legend for it's category and I could clearly see why.. Simple design, durable manufacturing & good finishing. This watch seemed to be what I was looking for. Elegant proportions and great wearability on a very dynamic sporty look. By the moment I noticed it, everything else looked just like an alternative. Sadly the next thing I noticed was that SKX line discontinued just few years ago and Seiko's current options on automatic dive watches was not close to it's characteristics and...
