Do you go for aesthetics or functionality when adding a new item to your setup? A bit of both, but if I HAD to choose, functionality. I’ve always found when choosing between two products, one being more aesthetic, and one being more functional, the functional always outlasts the aesthetic. What determines which items have a “permanent” space in your setup? Is it a necessity? Some items can look and perform great, but at the end of the day, I always ask myself, “Do I really need it, or can I remove it and make space for something more necessary?” What was the most frivolous addition to your battlestation that you absolutely don’t regret? Wall mounting my PC! It’s pretty uncommon to wall mount a PC, especially with an open case design, but I absolutely love the way it looks and how easy it’s been to clean/swap out new parts. What was the desktop/setup item that surprised you the most? Something that you didn’t expect to hold onto after you tried it? My entire headphone collection! As somebody who had never heard hifi sound, I bought an entry level amp and headphones just because I was curious about the experience. Two pairs of hifi headphones later, and looking to add more in the future, I’m completely hooked on the audiophile hobby. Do you have any favorite desktop items that would surprise your followers? Anything that smells good. I always have an incense, candle, or essential oil diffuser burning. Super underrated way to level up the vibes while gaming/listening to music/etc. Do you have any cable management secrets to share from your experience perfecting setups? Velcro zip ties > regular zip ties. Even if you don’t think you’ll be changing anything anytime soon, you will, and re-cable managing with permanent zip ties is a huge hassle and waste of plastic. Just use re-usable Velcro ones, trust me.  Follow @chettystudios on Instagram, TikTok and Youtube. (edit: formatting and added social media handles)

Very nice! Are both sides sit/stand? I've been considering what it might take to make my entire "L" one giant sit/stand, I just cringe at the thought of tearing it all apart and putting it all back together 😬

mplstechoneThanks! And just the small side for that exact reason! I couldn't fathom tearing it all apart so I just switch to the small desk when standing.
