Cth-Sdac/cayin ru6 discrete r2r
iPad with m1chip with ru6 into cth-sdac through SPDIF (unbalanced) but listening through balanced 4 pin headphone connector output
Frankly I don’t believe but I’d be interested for somebody else to try it …to my ears with a high rez file the audio is amazingly clear and lively musical the fidelity is unbelievable but I would like to know some body else s honest opinions .,,
is there anybody can supply that setup and review it??????¿

I have run balanced earphone cabling for years with my FiiO BT DAC/amps. The FiiO's have true balanced feeds. completely separate tracks for the 2 channels. separate audio amps, no common ground, each earphone has completely independent connection. I have never been able to do a direct USB connection with my iPhones because of the Lightning connector. I have been doing it with my Mac Studio and the difference is not even close to being subtle. I knew BT even 5.1 was not that good but when I first listened with my Shure SE-535's directly connected to my Mac Studio I was gobsmacked. I am using a FiiO BTR7 with my SE-535's, My SE-425's are on the BTR15. the BTR7 has a 4.4mm Balanced phone plug as does the BTR15. The cables do make a difference. You can use the stock cables on the Shure Earphones as tow ropes. I have replaced mine with FiiO's MMCX braided silver ones. They come with adapters for 2.5mm, and 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm, and 1/4" unbalanced.

I know my equipment not top of the line but I had a pontius 2 dac for 6 months I think this setup with the cayin ru6 is just as good I’m going to try another r2r into these setups ;a HiBy Rs6-never failed me yet incredible sound can’t recommend it enough

And also trying iem a campfire audio 2 ba iem with a tripowin altea cable into a drop 789 thx aaa on SE 3.5 mm output

Ringing in PC38X's
I recently got this headset, and wow is it good. My only issue is when certain people talk on discord, I can hear a really high pitched ringing. I fiddled with a bunch of settings, computer audio and discord, and nothing seems to solve the issue. It is primarily if not all in my right ear only. Is there something wrong with my headset, or was that ringing always there I can just hear it cause the headset is THAT good? I haven't had any issues with any other application, though I have yet to test if I can hear the ringing on a different version of discord, say on my xbox instead of my pc. Only other issue I've had is occasional static, but I can't tell if it's from the headset or the show/game/etc.

Recommendation for my next headphone set? I have Koss 95x
Hey all, What would you recommend I get next and why? I have Koss ESP-95x electrostatic massdrop headphones. These are my first and only audiophile set. I love them. I think my only real requirements is $500 or less for the headphones and that they have a little more low end. I don’t need thump but these are really light on lows…but the experience is still awesome. Also any recommendations on an amp? I only have my electrostatic thingy. I am using the Topping D50 DAC. thx!!
