Please just email everything in my communities to me exactly once

I know you want to optimize and target and show things until I suddenly want to buy them despite previously not. Please resist that urge, at least optionally via a setting.
Drops I have seen are useless noise (to me). I am subscribed to your emails to see new drops, not to waste time seeing repeats. The noisier you make the process the less happy I am; annoying me as I'm looking through your wares is not good business.
Add a Kickstarteresque "Remind Me" button if you wish to prod people. On the rare occasion I don't just buy things I want (for the price) when I see them that would be useful. Otherwise, my looking at the drop and not joining was a signal that I didn't want to do so.
Furthermore, it's frustrating that not all drops seem to appear in emails. I'm not going to visit your site regularly to check for new stuff when I'm already subscribed to your mailing list. I only happened to notice this occurred via the "Other Drops" section when I clicked through your emails.
I'm a paying customer who is literally asking you to see what else I can buy, and you somehow don't just show me. The "show all drops" and "hide items which are not shippable" threads are asking the same thing; you're a store, and we want to easily see a list of what we can buy. Please listen.

@Jude00 I hear all of your points and we're working very actively to improve this.
We recently discovered an issue in the algorithm which generates the emails which didn't prioritize drops that were launching that day in communities you were interested in but perhaps at a lower percentage of interest (based on interaction) than other communities.
As an example, if you were heavily interested in Watches (based on pageviews, purchases, etc..) and then also had subscribed to 13 other communities, we would first try to fill a quota of products based on your interest in Watches, which means you may get 5 products from Watches, which may then bump out a few products of say the 13th community you're subscribed to which could have been newer.
We have a fix coming out for this specific problem in the next couple of weeks and I appreciate your feedback as well as your patience.
In terms of the algorithm, we will also be working on: - Increasing personalization to reduce staleness based on whether or not you've already viewed a drop (to your note above) - Improving the signal inputs which dictate which communities we think you may be interested in - Potentially increasing the number of products that are sent (yes @JessOpals we will be careful to ensure it doesn't get overwhelming, and sustain a tenant of freshness & relevance)
Please feel free to reach out to me with email suggestions via this thread whenever you like.

I am pleased to hear this, obviously, Louis. Your explanation makes perfect sense; y'all's emails to me currently repeat drops in the community I happened to buy the most from so far to the exclusion of other subscribed communities.
To be honest, I'd still rather have the option to switch an extremely straightforward algorithm to send each drop exactly once, but the changes you've outlined would go a long way.

Totally hear that point. It requires a deeper level of personalization to accomplish that as many members only open their email 1x / week and ideally it contains many of the relevant products which are currently live.
We will certainly look into forking the algorithm for heavily engaged members vs. casual engagement to see if there are improvements to be made where we can balance the needs of both styles of interaction.

Seems like showing everything available in an email would be a bit much.

To be clear, I meant email only the drops in subscribed communities that are new each day. Massdrop has ~28 drops/day across 20 communities. I'm subscribed to 13 of those 20 communities and get emailed 25 items per day. It's just that they repeat some drops several times but simultaneously don't email at all about some drops in subscribed communities.
