Work around for firmware/configuration update error "command not recognized"
I spent more than an hour attempting to update my Drop Shift keyboard. I'm not sure what has changed, but I was not able to do it entirely from the Drop website as I had previously done. I have most of the keys configured how I would like, but the default LED function was a very bright, distracting, rainbow wave going across the keyboard. Every time I turned the computer on I had to manually adjust the lights how I liked. Using the online version or the locally installed app, you first have to install the QMK XAP interface. You then have to flash your already configured firmware file, which can be done on the Drop website. If you are logged in your last configuration is saved under your account and you can alter what you like, so you don't have to start from scratch. So, following the instructions I selected the appropriate board, entered bootloader mode, but when attempting to flash the file, I would get an error that the C:/Users/Mike C..... command is not recognized...

Regardless of that, someone else commented they hadn't been on the site, since they stopped the vape community. I merely wanted to comment that I too came back here today after a 1-2 year hiatus, looking for accessories for a particular vaporizer and am disappointed to see the community is no longer.
So regardless of your fervent views on how others ought to live their lives, I would like to request the community be re-added.

Don't support something that will greatly reduce deaths from traditional tobacco use... sounds super logical to me!
this is honestly one of the most genuinely embarassing things i've ever read on the internet

Edit: Couldn't help but go ahead and read them, my assessment was not wrong. I especially like the opening line of the last one. Nothing like leading with an oxymoron... " Teens who use e-cigarettes are more likely to smoke tobacco cigarettes later on—but the opposite wasn’t true, found a new long-term study that surveyed high school students over three years. ?" Long term and 3 years are not usually something I associate nor would anyone with commons sense make an assertion that 3 years is a long term study. Also none of these links actually post the study they claim to reference. Stop reading someones two minute summation and start reading the actual scientific reports.
I thought I could let that asinine "poppers" comment go but... *sigh*... here I go again, one of two things is true: 1) You do not actually understand what "poppers" are (amyl nitrate or like kind, sniffed/huffed to get high) or 2) You know some really really disturbed people that should get mental and physical help. Neither in anyway should give you a negative perception of something that based on current long term studies (yes as in 10 years, not 3) strongly indicate will save hundreds of thousands if not millions of lives for people who use it to quit lighting burning sticks of tobacco and inhaling it.

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/31/health/vaping-marijuana-ecigarettes-sickness.html This one is really illuminating: https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/wellness-and-prevention/5-truths-you-need-to-know-about-vaping specifically 1 - "A recent study found that most people who intended to use e-cigarettes to kick the nicotine habit ended up continuing to smoke both traditional and e-cigarettes." and 2 - "A New Generation Is Getting Hooked on Nicotine. Among youth, e-cigarettes are more popular than any traditional tobacco product. In 2015, the U.S. surgeon general reported that e-cigarette use among high school students had increased by 900 percent, and 40 percent of young e-cigarette users had never smoked regular tobacco. Evidence and time will show the callousness and shallowness of all posters in here. Meantime drop continues to be a seller of products that are killing children.
