One of my current favourites: Topping D30 / Melokin DA9.1 DAC > Feliks Audio Espressivo MKII > German Maestro GMP400 (seriously underrated headphones that scale well with good equipment).

OstewartI hear the GMP400's pop up in conversations from time to time throughout the headphone community, but you're right never heard nor seen a decent review of them imho. Might just google it up!
What's your thoughts on the Maestro, can they go?

VollyI reviewed them a couple of years ago, I also have the GMP 8.35d and they are awesome as a throw around headphone.

The GMP400 is a good alternative to the Beyer DT880 and Sennheiser HD600 but they are more neutral than the HD600 and relatively hard to drive. Without the right amp they can sound a little thin.
They are one of my favourite headphones, and do best with a powerful amp, or a tube amp (my Keces S3 in balanced works well with them)
They are also some of the lightest and most comfortable headphones out there.

OstewartLove your site, might do some binge-reading. :D
Might put the GMP 400's on the watch list!

OstewartYour site is one of subjective opinions.... those are a dime a dozen. Check out audiosciencereview if you want subjectivity to be challenged by objectivity :)

Jimster480It is always made clear on my reviews that is it purely my subjective opinion. I don't have the time or money to invest in a measurement system. It is something I do in my spare time.
