Odd layout kits?

more_vert
Who would like to see more unique layouts? Southpaw number pads, dactyls, non-ortholinear splits. The Aegis board for example.

I want a full sized keyboard with the navigation buttons on the left side, the opposite of the bloody B945:

Same advantages(all keys in pretty standard locations relative to each other, numpad+nav usage with both hands is ,uch more practical, and you get the mouse space of a tkl), but now jumping to the nav with left hand while using a mouse is much easier
I would love to get a standalone southpaw numpad with hot-swappable switches , or a SHFT-style keyboard with southpaw numpad. The fact is that most numpads have the enter key on the right of the number cluster (conventional layout) and I just find it weird. I've used this type of numpad as an additional accessory, but having the enter under my left thumb was super weird. I want the enter key under my pinky. And I want the numpad on the left, so it doesn't get in the way of my mouse. Edit: After looking at the Aegis board, it is almost exactly what I would want. Left hand arrow keys are also really helpful for my workflow - CAD design. For Excel, it would be a little less helpful, but I'd buy it!

I like the keycaps layout. Please make these for the drop shift Keyboard I would buy it.

Hi! I am looking for the layout of the picture below. I've looked around and could not find the model... this my dream layout. Any pointers?

GyooozahThis is basically the GMMK Pro, just with a key in the upper right instead of a knob there. Look for 75% keyboards. Some will have the keys smushed together, while some will have small gaps between the key clusters like this one does, but they'll all have variations on this general layout. This exact keyboard in the picture may just be a render of a nonexistent model, but I can't say for sure.

I really don't expect any kit to fit custom layout, other than non-sculpted with extra 2u pos keycaps. This one was the numpad keycap after some dremel work and epoxy.

Please! I have a ZSA Moonlander and finding keycaps for it is basically impossible. Even an ortholinear kit doesn't cover it. So more kits for unusual keyboard layouts and shapes especially with modifier keys in 1u and 1.5u sizes would be a dream.

MoroNoKimiStrongly agree with this one. I've been searching for the same, and while I don't expect to find the triangular keycaps anytime soon, a kit for this (YOU try to get a full set of OEM R3 caps) is pretty much impossible right now.

MoroNoKimiYes 100%. Ergodox layouts are all over the place, but no love for the moonlander. And I moved my keycaps around for Colemak mod-DH, so I can't use a standard sculpted set even if I wanted to.

Finally . . pictured is the correct ergonomics for right-handers BTW. My physio advises left side numbers or 60key setup to keep the mouse hand close to the centre of the body, elbows by your side. Too many years mousing has forced me to learn to use both right and left to alternate the strain, but this is perfect for natural right handers like me. I don't understand why right numbers didn't disappear with the invention of the mouse, and I envy all those southpaws that have never suffered the distant mouse issue.

markmakthat’s exactly why i switched to a 75%!
markmakAgreed! Switching to TKL for work has been a great call. Except that it started me down this very expensive hobby...

I'd get this since I prefer to use left hand for numbers and right hand for mouse.
