You gave two of these communities (Board Games and PC Gaming) less than a year since their creation to gain traction in a new user interface (which is not user friendly) and are removing a community that is part of a $3Billion a year industry (if you cannot make money in Quilting, then you need to evaluate how your interface is actually functioning at its core purpose as an interface) which should be expanded instead of reduced (the offerings are repetitive and not varied, and the shipping dates are often far beyond what the crafting community needs for supplies). Fix the length of time between the Drop end date and the ship dates, and offer deals that are better than ones found on Amazon (as people do cost comparison before putting anything in an online cart these days).

JennyMeekerYou're right... Quilting seems like it should have been a solid inflow. Perhaps people where simply unaware of their existence and they needed to spread the word somehow (advertising or posts of enthusiast forums). Not my forum though, unfortunate for those who frequented those markets though.

JennyMeekerRight on the money about not being able to make money at quilting. They didn't hardly try. I went to Houston quilt festival and made a game of asking vendors if they'd heard of Massdrop. A shocking number had never heard of them or been contacted. They were all interested in doing drops and the concept though. Quilters want to spend money lol when Massdrop first started I brought so many quilters here that had never heard of it. Then the product offering kept going further and further downhill.
