Are the Audio-Technica ATH-R70X headphones better than the ATX-AD900X?
I have gotten a little bit into audiophile stuff after watching some dankpods videos, and I want to step up my game with a better pair of open-back headphones for around 300 USD, but I do not really know what to get. I have looked at Sennheiser and other companies, but what I am mostly looking for is a pair of high ohm headphones with big drivers in them (about 50mm) because I am a huge bass junkie. I came across Audio-Technica and they have exactly what I am looking for in my budget, and the products they make look good too. I have not tried the headphones myself but they seem like the best option because everything else I find is more expensive than I would like. The main question here is if the two headphones mentioned in the title are good, which one is better than the other, or if I should just stay away from this company in general. As a newbie, am very open to suggestions about other headphones I could get and things I should look for and stay away from, so any constructive...

TLDR; What is the best amp/dac for Sennheiser Game One headsets. I'm into gaming (FPS) as well as looking for good quality for music. I prefer to keep it in the $100-$300 range, and I am looking at alternatives to the Sennheiser GSX 1000. I would like to be able to hook up 5.1 speakers as well, but I understand if it is not possible. The one other concern I had is; would there be any complications hooking up the dac/amp and audio interface for a microphone at the same time? (I think they're different connections, but I'm not positive.)
My Intentions - I used to be into making YouTube videos, and would like to rejoin that scene as well as get into streaming on Twitch. In order to do that, I would like the best set up for my viewers (microphone/interface), as well as a quality audio set up for competitive gameplay.
I will use them primarily for FPS gaming. I like being able to hear where my enemies are without seeing them. The biggest games being PUBG, and Overwatch for now. I will also listen to music as well, but that isn't quite as important.
My future equipment -
- Microphone - (Don't have one, but looking at the Shure SM7B, as well as an Audio Technica.)
- Audio Interface - (Don't have one, but looking at the Focusrite Scarlett 2.2)
- Amp/DAC - Looking for suggestions or any better options. I am currently looking at the Sennheiser GSX 1000; Little Dot MKII (Recommended by a friend, but I don't know if I really want to step into the realm of tubes); Grace Design M900 (Just a bit higher than I want to go)
My current equipment/software -
