As others have mentioned a Drop x Topping DAC or Drop x Soncoz DAC collaboration. Maybe the latter more so, as they are a young company that makes great products and could use some extra visibility. Will there ever be a drop collaboration on an integrated stereo amp? I’m a 90% headphone guy, but my various speakers could use some love too.

At least AKM 4499 DAC chip I would say. I'd look at Topping D90MQA and SMSL M400 for ideas
well since the ONE is going down a bit from the 789 how about going up a bit drom the sdac? $200-$300 price range? 32bit support with balanced and unbalanced? option for wireless for those who would use it?

With the AAA One being more on the budget side compared to the 789, I would love to see a DAC in a matching chassis, probably not balanced since the AAA One isn’t balanced, and priced similarly to the AAA One. While the Airist R-2R is a great DAC and also in the same chassis, the R-2R technology is expensive. The price point has to come down for a DAC that goes alongside the AAA One. Can’t wait to see what is brought to market though!!
MarinaraAddictsdac is already perfect for it just is a different form factor

I'd like something like the Monolith balanced DAC + THX amp. Actually, I have one and really no complaints. But I would like to see gain control and a better interface. It is just really ungainly to use 2 buttons and a dial knob for all the functions. A nice graphical interface will be nice (I'd even settle for an app).

I would look at the SMSL M400 for inspiration. Try to trickle down as much as you can into a $250-$300 package.

It should be balanced with enough outputs, it could include a linear power supply for the cth/thx/carbon.

Airist RDAC and THX One combo would be a pretty strong competitor against the likes of the Audio-gd R2R11. A balanced RDAC would be an excellent match for the THX 789, and a pretty solid endgame stack for a lot of people.

Maybe an option to preamp like what they got on the d50s world be nice. Not a necessity, but definitely something that would be nice to have. MQA fr me would be the cherry on top for me.

All I ask is that it matches the 789 and the price makes sense for those pairing it with the 789. I would 100% pay $300 for a dac to match. The balanced inputs/optical are a given. I'm waiting on this to upgrade from my Modi 3. I think we'd all agree we'd love to see some concepts. I'm really looking forward to this especially if it comes out by the end of the year.
