Okay, this is going to be a great community. Now, just to get things rolling. I have a couple of suggestions for a drop or poll. I will be buying two watches this year. 1) a GPS watch for hiking/backpacking. It has to be user friendly, simple to use and easily readable. 2) a HD glow-in-dark watch. If it looks like Ernest Hemingway would wear it then I'm in. LARGE easy to read numbers and dial. Titanium case would be nice. With leather and SS band options. Almost bought one off of County Comm. Still might.

EDCjunkieCheck out tritium tube dials. These are always illuminated. Traser has some cool, inexpensive models. Marathon is a great one often used by law enforcement as well as military units. You can get titanium, but many are PVD-coated stainless steel. These also tend to come with rubber or NATO straps, although both brands I listed also come with bracelets (Marathon will engrave your agency's symbol on the bracelet if they supply it already).

EDCjunkieOn top of SkipPe's recommendations other big tritium users are Deep Blue, Armourlite, and Ball (ball watches are considerably more expensive however). I own a Marathon TSAR and I got it for the durability and tritium lighting. The time is easily read by the markers and the tritium vials at night however if you are looking for actual illuminated numbers there are fewer analog options. That being said, Deep Blue has made something like that in the past. The Alpha Marine 500 :D
