This is misleading and inaccurate! First of all, the mesh "grill" is NOT HD 580, and if the driver/speaker is a "650" it was swapped out by a previous owner.....fact me if you dare !!!

AussieAlexThe mesh grill on dynamic driver version started from shortly made HD580 Jubilee (50th anniversary) version. It had painting similar to carbon fiber and had metal grill like Sennheiser HE60 ("baby orpheus" electrostatic headphones). Standard HD580 precision models had plastic grill imitating old school wooden speaker grills, but limited anniversary version HD580 Jubilee had grey metal grill.
AussieAlexCorrect, this is not the 1990’s HD 580 with the plastic herringbone pattern grilles. Rather, this is a new headphone, the HD 58X Jubilee, which has a modern driver (150 Ω) and its own sound signature, at a price well below the vintage HD 580 sold at before being discontinued.

You will be really happy with them, Ive had mine for about a year, great sound, best value for money, has the same drivers as the HD650s.
RMleczkoIt is an amazing value! Not the same driver as the HD 650 though... the HD 58X Jubilee driver is a different design, with a different driver material (easier to mass produce), smaller diameter, different thickness, half the impedance, and a different tuning. However, the HD 6XX does have the same driver and design as the HD 650 😉
