What is SpaceFN and why you should give it a try
The SpaceFN concept - setting up your space key as a layer switch when held - is probably one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby. Let me explain how it works. On my imaginary top list of the most useful keyboard features, tweaks and hacks, SpaceFN would deserve a podium finish for sure. But what makes it so special? none of the captain america, darth vader, or any of those keycaps.
or rainbow colored LEDs or double shot, triple shot, quadruple shot, or any of that.
i don't need to show anyone my keyboard, it's just there so i can type. Cherry MX red are good enough for me, everything else is irrelevant.
i've tried many keyboards like das, ducky, max, logitech, corsair, monoprice. all with cherry mx. at the end of the day, they were all the same minus the LED. As far as fit and finish, Das was hands down best. but gimme a $40 monoprice cherry mx red and i'll call it a day.
