Will there ever be a wireless version of this headset?

I wouldn't hold your breath on it. the vast majority of wireless gaming headsets are closed-back because they need somewhere to put the batteries and electronics. If they ever did make these wireless they probably wouldn't be open-back or they would be a substantially different design.

SexPandaByOdeonI don’t work at Drop, but I do know EPOS laid off their entire gaming division staff to concentrate on office products. It seems they’re still manufacturing and making warranty service parts for Drop though. I think wireless saves some desk space/clutter, and when couch gaming its an easier way to accommodate without an extension cord or tangles, but Bluetooth is prone to latency and reduced sound quality (especially when using the microphone). You can always use a Bluetooth dongle though.
