I would love to see the SVS SB-1000 drop. I see the Audioengine S8 has an active drop, but that thing just doesn't have enough power for me. Compare the S8 and the SB-1000:
S8: MSRP $349

I have the Audioengine A5+ speakers and I like them. I've been waiting for the S8 to come available because I'm guessing it has been designed to compliment my A5+s. HOWEVER... I've been looking at the other options listed here like the SVS, which sounds highly regarded. I might consider it over the S8 but it's in a reasonably small room and I'm afraid the 12" is going to be too much, with the S8 being a better "fit". What do you guys think?
