The early choices get too much of a head start in this case. There are some cool featured ones like the Kuru but I doubt individuals will do the research themselves. We need more info and voters need to be informed of all the features of the candidates.

steveI'm not sure. The car groups are fine because they seem to have things organized before coming to Massdrop. People like me who aren't associated with a prebuy/niche community are here to browse what catches our eyes. I don't know how often these types of people come back to keep track of how polls are doing and if new candidates are added. Reworking the system would require some thought.

lac29I have a kuru toga myself, and while it's always nice to have the sharp lead, I don't like the grip on it and the lead itself does get very sharp. So sharp you'll probably stab yourself a few times on accident if you keep it in your pants while sitting down. lol
