I dont understand all the ire. I was perfectly happy with the price for the 5x16gb cards. That was a good deal for those. And if all you need is multiple 16gb cards, not 4k speed for GoPros, it is great.
I'd actually be happy with 4gb or 8gb. My use case is more about having separate cards.
SD cards, like SSDs really don't offer a lot of wiggle room for great deals.
You either pay for performance or not.
Hey All,
We wanted to let everyone know that while the pricing and copy were correct the imagery may have been misleading. It is because of this we are cancelling this run.
For those who have joined this run we will be making it available again shortly.
We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.
Jaysunwhat was misleading? Was it the wrong speed or a different form factor.
BTW it would be nice to get some kind of email notifying of the cancelation after I'd already placed an order.
seriously wth, I actually have a use for a few dozen 16gb microSd. So was eager to get them at this price.
I'm also just now noticing that my order was placed after this cancellation. So seriously what the hell.
I hope people understand what they are getting here.
If you are looking for a FAST card a V10 rating is NOT IT. Do a little research about the V10, V30, V60 and the new expense V90 ratings. Don't think you are getting a fast card here because V10 isn't fast, you're just getting MANY of them for a relatively small price.
For some people this is plenty, just don't want people being disappointed in thinking a V10 card is fast as it isn't.
NOWitsOKAs of a current price check even the "discount" is in question, they essentially retail price now, the only savings being potentially in shipping.
NOWitsOKIt's a little confusing given all the different names, but the short answer is: if you're like me and were hoping to pick up a pile of cheap cards to throw in a GoPro for some 4k recording, these aren't going to cut it. You'll need a U3/V30 (my understanding is those are basically different names for the same speed) card at a minimum for that.
That feels like a bait and switch. Shows 256GB and OH YEAH this price is for 16GB! I knew there had to be a gimmick at that price for 256GB. It isn't 256GB. Post the correct image of the item offered at the price.
