Hi! I need help. Is there any difference between ath a2000z and ath W5000?
Two days ago I ordered Ath W5000 for 550$. Maybe I should order ath A2000z for 400$ and cancel the W5000?
Please, what should I do? help with advice. Thank you

Gabriel1Caveat: I've listened to neither and I think that frequency charts can only take you so far. That said if you have preferences in sound signature, or are buying for a specific genre and have a preference beyond just flat, I think they can help. Also, keep in mind the cups are made of very different materials and so will likely have different tonal characteristics.

Gabriel1I haven't heard W5000 but there will be definitely a quite audible difference, since different materials are used and also (and here I can only speculate) I guess Audio-Technica tuned these differently. Now which is to be preferred and why - I can't tell, of course - only someone that had experienced both can give you a better clue.
For me both models are crazy beautiful but I still prefer the wood on W5000 leaving the sound aside. On the other hand W5000 is quite an old model... so there is that :) I can't help you much in choosing, I guess :) :) :) but I just like talking about these headphones...
