I just got these, if I only have around 200$ more to spend, should I go for a dac/amp combo like jds atom and ol dac or spend all the money on a better dac?

ace52387I've read that these pair really well with Tube sound... so really, this combo Tube/SDAC on here would probably be perfect but unfortunately it appears to be out of stock right now.. maybe they will restock it soon at the $250 price point:

I just ordered my A2000Z in this recent drop so I won't have them for a month or so to be able to give personal feedback.

ace52387Early listening stages on my set as they just came a couple days ago but so far... definitely worth the purchase they sound incredible!
Pad change is good to do though, stock pads are a little small (for me) and slightly uncomfortable but not BAD, just not the best though they still sound incredible with them. I currently have some Fenestrated Brainwavz XL on them and its already a big improvement on my first pad swap all around.

Muscle_CowEven better.... put on some Sheepskin Audeze pads from AHG since I didn't have Dekonis and these are much cheaper... fucking perfect! Fix the seal issue, so comfortable, keep the sound profile and enhance bass... winning all around I love these.
