I bought a pair of Bose Companion 20 speakers for 220$ when I was much less informed, and I really want these now. Should I buy them and sell the Companions for 100$ or keep what I've got? Is it that big of an upgrade it what I'm really asking.

ReconCompanion 20 is not even in the same class. They are closer to A2 than A5+, so yeah, definitely an upgrade.
