Looks like mine was lost getting over the border to Canada. This was to be my first automatic :(
I've submitted a request to Massdrop support but haven't heard back yet (it's two days after a long weekend, I understand). How are lost packages handled generally? Can I expect another shipment or a refund?

Received my watch, second hand had fallen off in shipping, and is laying at 6 under the crystal. Guess they didn't get the hands falling off issue resolved. Have contacted Massdrop about resolving this.

Yes Massdrop responded within 24 hours and are working with vendor to secure a replacement for me.

Why aren't the pictures tagged with the model number? It's making me nuts. I can't tell brass from bronze. Is there a green one? I went to manufacturer's website and they don't have all models listed. I like the design.

This one also has a bronze case, not just plated steel like the vintage models, same miyota 8215 movement though.

This is a beautiful watch! I would buy this if I just hadn't bought the Ray II and a Seiko 5! I'll have to request for this again and keep an eye out!

I bought this watch from Amazon for about the same price as here (maybe 10 bucks more) like three years ago. Everything was fine for me (no hands falling off or anything like that).
One time I forgot to take them off and went for a swim. They only have 50m water resistance, which only protects you from splashing or maybe shower, so the water screwed them pretty bad. The crown pin got corroded and broke. BUT, I sent the watch to the manufacturer and they fixed everything free of charge (I only had to pay postage fees and only one way, to the manufacturer). It took quite a while (like 2 or 3 months), but after that I had no problems.

While this is a great price for this watch, I am very glad MD is offering the 2 year manufacturer warranty.
Amazon reviews don't look too promising in terms of the build quality. A surprising number of people complaining that the second hands falls off, sometimes right out of the box, and even on the replacement watches they received. Once may be a fluke. Twice in a row seems suspicious, especially with so many people seemingly affected:

On the manufacturers site the bronze version is supplied with 2 straps, can Massdrop confirm whether this is the same here please.
