Product Description
While it may look like something out of a 1950s office, the Azio MK-Retro Keyboard is anything but stuck in the past. Outfitted with handcrafted keycaps with chrome trim, this retro-style keyboard looks as good in the office as it does in the game room Read More
Hm no free shipping. The base keyboard is also still cheaper on eBay. Probably only worth it only if I went for the other keycaps and board. Even then, $91 (at lowest committed price of $77) isn't that appetizing(NJ gets the shaft of both taxes and shipping cost). Also, why is this in the tech community and not in the mech keyboard community?
This board is cheap, and not in the good way.
If you need this aesthetic, then go for it, but don't expect a high-end product. Otherwise just ask around for recommendations on r/mk or somewhere. There are plenty of better boards than this.
emilio69vThat's a software issue, mostly. This keyboard is (I assume) American style, which means that it will lack any sort of accent keys. If you need accents, you might want to see about changing which keyboard layout it is detected as in software.
I've been using this keyboard for a year and have found it to be very good. However when I first started using it, there was quite a learning curve as the the keys do not have a bevel on the edge so all the keys are very close together and the the faces are flat, which makes it easy to press the wrong key or multiple keys until you get used to it.
This is my first time. The price has dropped once, and it's a reasonable deal, but nothing special. Is it going to go cheaper than that, if more people join the drop?
Very unhappy with this purchase. I though it was the one with backlit keys. Somewhere in the description it should have mentioned that this was not the LED backlit one. I thought Azio only had one retro model.
