The case is interesting since you assemble it like a model kit. I think its quite an interesting design but you may have to modify it a bit to accommodate different PCBs. The stand that comes with it though is pretty cool with the keycap display
The single best aspect of this set is the way many of keycaps have multiple legends and can be used upside down for different purposes, provided you don't mind the aesthetic. In this way, a lot of keycaps can pull double duty to fit your needs.
However, as for the actual quality of keycaps...they are okay, but not nearly as good as I expected. There is a subtle but noticeable difference in shades of black between the keycaps. It's not a total dealbreaker but definitely annoying, almost as annoying as the shine that develops on these PBT caps over time, which I didn't expect. Even cheapo aliexpress PBT caps I have don't develop shine like this does.
XDA is XDA, comfortable enough with both the pros and cons that come with a uniform profile. Note that there are no homing features on any of the keys. Overall, for the average person, unless you specifically can benefit from the legends of this set, the negatives probably outweigh the positives.
I got the case, not the keycaps, and it's just alright. It was kinda cool to put it together, it was giving Gunpla but it was just a hollow plastic box. I don't recommend it, there are better options.
They're XDA and black. Lack of competition makes it hard to criticize.
I bought this keycap set because I've been wanting XDA caps to be anything but grey and beige for the longest time. By the time I got them, I realized they were basically dyesub XDA caps. I understand Buger was working within their means, so most of my criticism is towards the primary manufacturers of XDA caps who, for some reason, have not taken advantage of this wonderful and versatile profile (with a very strong space bar in regards to the audible difference between it and other profiles) by making more colors. There isn't even black or white, when PBT by default comes in a lovely ghost white appearance.
most of the sprues are undergated which is very nice, you don't really see the stress marks. Snaps together very tight. Although it sounds rather hollow if not tuned.
I love it being chonky! Even though it's built without screws (between the plastic parts of the case), it doesn't squeak or anything. Snipping the plastic was the worst part of it, being kind of hard to make a clean cut.
