Seriously, everyone: get off the fence and spend a few. Put a pair in your bedroom, kitchen, laundry room. You've got closets...I'm thinking "private listening space." Clothes make good sound baffling. Next year's Christmas shopping: done. Buy a few dozen and make a wall of awesomeness. Or just do this:
