Waiting on my second CODE clear (bought the first in the last drop a couple of months ago). First-time buyers, don't worry at all. It's good enough for me to have bought two and I'm picky, Model M, Das Keyboard with blues, Filco with MX Browns, have had all those and this is as good or better all things considered. It is most like the brown keyswitches,
I did try some alternate keycaps but given the CODE has key lighting it looks a bit weird, I am sticking with the original keys.
One tip for you is that if the delete key or other 2x or 1.5x key seems stiff or squeaky, pull it off and make sure the wire rectangle is clipped in to the base of the switch where it should be - I had this issue with the DEL key and once fixed it is perfect.
