Product Description
The headphone experience isn’t just a sonic one—it’s a tactile one, too. Not showing!! Probably the same as the HE-R7DX, about 35 ohm's, slap the dekoni branding on and use the old hifiman Headband, and yokes, by the looks of it it's the same headphones, touched up. They sound good for a closed back, but no isolation, very comfortable, but longevity is the issue and lack of vital information like impedance and frequency response chart. Mmm , I got the HE-R7DX, and am happy with them, but only because I only paid £39 , because I had £65 in vouchers and they were on sale anyway. Imho this looks almost identical, but sound wise, who knows. I wouldn't pay 10 times the amount, just to find out, when it looks like the same headphones, very very slight difference. One hell of a punt but they just may be outstanding, but I will stick with the HE-R7DX! And the other 20 odd pair's!!

mbw1Finally impedance is rated at 16 ohm, that's what I call "unpredictably low" and possibly fussy to drive. Dekoni pads are worth $99 alone so substract that from the price and you get $300 dynamics from a very planar manufacturer. Not too sure about this but one thing is: it's not Sundara closed-backs.

I mean...... it's not the "lowest it goes", it's more like the lowest it goes while still producing a decent amount of bass. Almost every headphone out there is rated from 20 hz to 20 khz but not all of them are able to produce decent bass at 20 hz. It's generally a ramp that gradually goes louder and louder as frequency goes up. So I'd not pass any judgement until I hear one, but at the same time this is advertise as a bright headphone so it makes sense that bass is not its emphasis. I think it's trying to compete with HD600 while being closed back.

Yes, from the freq response graph, they look like they'd be bass heavy. ??
