Great Value
Great value at less than 200 bucks. They sound a lot better than any wireless headphones at any price. I use these with an ifi goblue plugged in via USB-C to my Pixel phone and walk around with them. The low impedance makes them easy to power with a portable amp. The sound isolation is non-existent but I just jack up the volume. Everyone can hear whatever you have playing and you can hear everything on the street if you are not listening to these at home so just keep that in mind but they sound great and are super comfy. I have watched some weird reviews videos on YouTube about these making dubious claims like that they sound good when the volume is low and that the bass is bad but I find them to just be good, well balanced and neutral headphones with great 45 mm drivers. Take the reviews with a grain of salt, these reviewers are desperate for stuff to talk about.

It is what I was expecting
The high point of these headphones is definitely the vocal tonality. The mids are more forward than with other headphones I've used and voices really stand out of the mix. The bass is present and provides some thump, but it doesn't extend verry low. I like the treble, but my favorite headphones are Grados, so I like a sound profile that many others would consider too bright and harsh... Less so with the velour pads, but even less bass extension. The most comparable headphones I have much experience with are the DT770 pro. The build quality I would say is not as good as the 770. The cups of the Cobalts are stiff and don't rotate as well and they just don't feel as durable, but the detachable cable is a big bonus. These are verry comfortable headphone, but the 770s are even more comfortable. The Bass of the 770s extends lower, but there is less impact. It may sound like I prefer the 770s, but I don't. The fact is that I have hardly touched my 770s since I got my Cobalts. The way that the sound stage engulfs me makes them more engaging and the vocals convey emotion better. I'm really having a hard time putting them down, but I don't really need to because these are efficient enough not to require more than a dongle to power them... I've been mostly using a Qudelix-5k to power them fairly easily when I'm moving around the house. I've used both balanced and unbalanced outputs of the 5k, but couldn't hear the difference. At My desk I have a Fiio K11 R2R feeding an Xduoo MT-602 unbalanced. I've also tried using them balanced straight out of the Fiio K11. The Unbalanced output from the K11 doesn't sound as good as the MT-602. The balanced out of K11 sounds better (fuller and deeper) than the unbalanced out of the k11. The MT-602 is my favorite though. that probably say more about the quality of the single ended vs balanced vs line out of K11, but these are the first headphones where those differences were noticeable

I finally got mine today, this are my first impressions: This sound really good! Is a neutral tone with good bass and mids , the highs are good but not as natural as other headphones , one thing that surprised me is the comfort , these are light and super confortable , it comes with 2 sets of pads , I haven’t tried the velour ones but I will update later , so in conclusion if you get this on sale they’re a great buy if you’re looking for a closed back that sounds like an open back with great comfort and neutral sound.

Do they come with both pads still? I saw in a review that it was only for the first batch. With the velour pads, you mentioned that the headphones sound warmer, but do they still have some brightness? I also saw a review mention that the perforated sheep skin pads were considered by Dekoni to be the default tuning.

blakie000Yes they still come with 2 sets of pads, like I showed in the picture, and for the sound : just to be clear these are not bright headphones, they neutral with a tiny bit of brightness in the highs that if you put the velour will roll off

Also doesn't help that the pic also look like it's just taken from their website or promo pic or something. So at this point we still don't know if this "person" actually owned or listened to the unit.

OrazYou might as well have simply typed "I loved the product, it changed my life" for all this """review""" is worth. Seriously, Drop, you need to put a 100 word minimum on reviews, or something, to keep worthless garbage like this at bay.
