Ordered these way back in 2020 and just now cracked them open on a build. They feel good but the QA/QC process needs WORK. of the 110 ordered 9 of them arrived with bent pins. Some of the worst offenders (pictured below) were so bad I was unable to bend them back into place. of the working ones I'd recommended them for a specialty build if you needed to see the switches, otherwise I'd look elsewhere.
They felt perfectly fine stock, no real complaints. But it's almost a given that most switches are better lubed. I did my best to use a thin lube and avoid the tactile bumps. They feel very smooth and the tactile feedback wasn't muddied out at all. I'd say the only negative is hiding these beauties underneath keycaps!
Although I plan on lubing them, the typing sound was already pretty satisfying. I also really dig the color as it was exactly the colors I wanted to use in my build.
I put these on my Lily58 stock and they felt very nice. The switch dives right into the tactile bump on press, and the bump feels very good. They are definitely a bit scratchy out of the box, but it's not too bad. I liked them so much that I decided to lube them and try them out as a daily driver. Great tactility, wonderful thockiness. I do not see myself changing to a different tactile switch anytime soon. They are a bit of a pain in the butt to lube because of their unusual switch mechanism, but it is well worth the time.
If you are looking for a tactile switch, these are great. They give a fairly early indication of the tactility while pushing down on them. Tactiles are for sure not for everyone, but if you are #tactilegang, these are a great option.
I am by no means a switch expert but in my limited experience these are the best tactile switches I have used. They hit a very nice sweet spot for me where they are tactile enough to feel good - i.e. I can feel the bump - but not so sharp or hard to press that it slows down my typing speed. I've tried Halo Trues (feel like stiff linears), Akko Blue Oceans (not tactile enough) and Novel Keys Box Royals (very sharp bump - too sharp for me to use as a daily driver). The fact that they come in a colorway that matches my keyboard is icing on the cake. If I were to build another keyboard today these are the switches I would use.
