I noticed the painting process is done when the plugs are fully assembled. at creases you can see paint chips, pooling, and what color the bare metal is underneath the paint. I would hope for a better paint quality for the price, but all of the decorative cables are getting more and more expensive.
While this cable does look cool, mine broke within a month of having it. The USB-C head is loose and the build quality is poor in general. Wont be buying $40 usb cables that break within the first couple weeks of using it again. Ridiculous.
Love the connector, the material, don't like the loss of coil
Might be from the usage and moving much but the coil got a bit messy after 6 months.
Nothing else to dislike about it.
Cat proof, due to it's coating, which was a huge advantage.
Does what you expect it to do... but the USB-C connector seems a little short
It's a coiled USB cable and does what I expect it to do.
BUT! The USB-C connector on my cabvle is made slightly shorter (by about 1-2mm) because of the cable sleeve that wraps around the end of the cable and overlaps with the cable plug. This made the connection between the keyboard and cable slightly loose. I fixed that with a spare USB-C extension adapter I had lying around.
Looks great overall, but the coil seems a bit wide.
I've had no issues with this cable, and all things considered it seems like a pretty good purchase. I will say though that by default the coil seems to be wider then with my other coiled cables.
