My CTRL's LED setting always goes back to rainbow color(initial setting) after power off and on, on my Ubuntu and Windows. Is it normal?

Bo-SungYes. It means your motherboard completely cuts power through USB. You might have a BIOS setting to keep the USB up while powered off.

Bo-SungNormally the mobos keep providing some "look, I'm still here" current to the peripherals - that current is useful for example if you want to take advantage of the "wake on USB" functionality. Check that in your BIOS settings.
