We collaborated with Dickies to craft trousers with historic heritage and timeless appeal. Cut from rare Cramerton twill in a versatile shape, the Drop + Dickies Cramerton Chinos won’t be here long. Make one of 150 pairs yours.
The cut is straight, roomy , somewhat structured - wont end up looking like sack of potatoes - and makes your ass look great no matter the size of it. Honestly, these are the best cut pants I own even if it took time for me to get used to it being roomier than my other pants.
The sizing is dead on (unlike regular dickies where I had to size up).
The fabric is noticeably of higher quality than regular dickies and doesn't fray, even after several washes. I'll surely pass these down to my kids.
Fabric seems great, but the cut is just crazy. Its my fault for ordering but 32 inseam is just too short and the boxy look of these does not fit me at all.
I ordered the chinos in size 31 and 32, which are supposed to have a waist size of 32 and 33 inches respectively according to the sizing chart. However, i received the items and both are significantly larger than the reported size at 34.5 and 35.5 inches respectively, as shown in the photos.
Quality is great but sizing is an issue, will need to exchange it for size 30s.
I took these down to my tailor to have a cell phone pocket put in them, which has turned out well. My only complaint so far is they seem to fit a little small in the waist--I ordered a 33, which should be a waist of 34, which is what I normally wear, but they seem a bit tight. I'm concerned that after they shrink in the wash, they will be too small.
Might be best to order a big larger than you normally wear for these.
This is the kind of pant I was looking for! I have bought many pairs of chinos over the years from mainly fast fashion stores and found that it does not last well. I was looking for something with quality and after testing it out it is miles better in terms of quality from the ones you can get at fast fashion retailers. I really believe this can be cheaper in terms of cost per wear over the long term compared to constantly buying cheap pants every season.
I also love the story/heritage behind the piece where in modern times, products may not invest in quality but rather quantity or cost cutting. This reminds us of what we might be missing out on with the trends these days of fashion.
You feel the difference immediately after putting this pair on. I am so, so stoked. I ordered a 31 even after requesting a 30 and I will say it is a loose fit, bit pleasantly so for me as I like the more baggy look
