Since its introduction last year, the PC38X has been one of the community’s favorite gaming headsets. Whether it’s that 15th zoom meeting of the day or the 2am grind to platinum, the clear and punchy sound signature makes them a pleasure for both work and play. And while they’re comfortable enough to let you get it all done on those long days, not everyone was in love with the distinctive black and yellow colorway. To those who let us know they wanted something just a little more sleek and professional looking, your requests have been heard.  We have worked with EPOS (the artist formerly known as Sennheiser gaming) to create an all black version of the PC38X. No other tinkering required, so you can expect the same great audio and comfort as before, but with a stealthy new look and the new EPOS branding.  Happy holidays everyone!

I play fps games and it's really great for pinpointing where people are. The mic quality is also very nice and clear especially compared to the headphone mics I've had in the past.

Hi all When using the pc38x with an ipad 5th gen sound can stop/cut out if there is a bit of movement. No issue when using with my older (2012) imac. is this issue with the ipad due to how this hp / cable guy is wired? quite a disappointment in that regard any info would be appreciated thanks Peter T

If Drop has it in stock, you’ll most likely get it. So far, news of Epos seems to be based on one former employee’s post, so take it with a grain of salt. If it’s true, any warranty support is up in the air.

blakie000AnandTech has posted some additional deets: "Though the company has stated that it will continue to support customers and sell off inventory of existing products in the coming months. That self-off process is expected to take a decent bit of time, with Epos expecting it to stretch in to 2024."

I've had this headset for quite sometime and it works great, but suddenly, the mic stopped working. Other mics work with my pc just fine, but this mic` no longer gets picked up on an apps including realtech audio interface and even the control panel. I was wondering if there was any way I could fix this or any ideas as to what the problem could be?

I have 2 problems. My mic is extremely quiet and my headphones are also extremely quiet. I have done everything to try and solve this. When I plugged them into my phone both the mic and the headphones sounded amazing. So it is a problem with my motherboard. Any advice?

What is the best setup for these? I have plugged mic/headphones into back ASUS audio console but the audio seems low. I tired headphones front console with mic in rear but I can't get the mic to work when I do that. Anyone know the best setup to get the best audio and mic from these? Do I need a software?

dakine2285do other headsets work just fine?

Very comfortable. Build quality is fine and for the price it is as expected. Sounds fantastic and better than most 'gaming' headsets. Only two wishes would be a wireless version--but that would have it's own drawbacks due to design changes--and a detachable mic. (mod edit: removed affiliate links)

I bought the PC38X a couple of days ago, and it arrived today. The packaging wasn't beat up, nothing was damaged, blah blah. There's those 2 cables, the splitter and the one with just 2 ends. I'm using the one with just 2 ends for my laptop. When I plug it in, audio only comes from one ear, and any level of talking sounds distant and echoey, like you're in a auditorium. Any audio that is not talking, sounds flat, dull, and is just generally not high quality. This is not my desired experience. Is it a problem with the headphones? A problem with my device? I plugged them into my 7th gen iPad, and they had the same problem. I'm using a dell G15 5511 Gaming laptop, and I plugged in another 3.5 mm headphone that I had, and it doesn't have that problem. Do I need to buy a sound card? Should I ask for a different pair? I need some help here, because these were very expensive headphones, and I've heard very good things about them. I'd hate to have to return them. Show less
