By now, MiTo’s cyberpunk-themed Laser custom keycap set has become a mainstay in the mech keys community. Capturing the neon lights, dark shadows, and intriguing antiheroes of the genre, it looks like it was shot straight from the barrel of a laser. Now, we’re bringing back SA Laser for another round. Still made by Signature Plastics, the set combines violet alphas and midnight purple modifiers with bright pink and teal legends. In this round, you’ll find two new monokits: the Cyberdeck 2 kit, which is now fully sculpted in R3 profile; and the Synthwave M170 kit, also in R3 profile, which puts a fun twist on Laser with all violet keys and Cherry-style Gaijin legends. Sculpted in SA profile, the set features doubleshot ABS construction to stay strong and vivid over time.
Choose from three variations: Alphas (Latin characters), Kobe (Hiragana characters), or Gaijin (hybrid).
For the modifiers, choose classic legends, Micons, or the exclusive programmer-inspired Obnet kit (created by our design partner Oblotzky). Each kit is designed to cover the majority of popular layouts, but those with a Leopld/Race keyboard will also need the Exotic kit for full coverage.
The Cyberdeck 2 and Synthwave M170 kits are tributes to GMK Laser: a remix consisting of Cherry legends with spherical, flat SA profile. The kits come in the classic R3 configuration and include extra keycaps to cover the majority of custom keyboards, all in one single kit. Each of these sets is retro-compatible with the Cyberdeck kit from round one, if you want to mix and match.
The Ortho kits are designed to provide coverage for ortholinear keyboards such as the Planck and Preonic, while the 40s kit is available for 40% keyboards such as the Vortex Core and several custom layouts.
The Ergo kit is designed to cover the ErgoDox keyboard. It’s available with generic legends.
In the UK/Norde kits you’ll find kit coverage for the United Kingdom and several Nordic countries. If you have a Colemak/Dvorak keyboard, you’ll need the Colevrak kit. Those with a Leopold, unconventional arrows, or a Vortex Race keyboard will need the Exotic kit.
The novelties from GMK Laser are back in the Decorations Kit, along with the all-new Turbo kit for a speedometer-style look like an ‘80s Corvette. Also available are other accents, comfortable arrows, and monolegends for those who prefer a more subtle presentation.

Images are of 3D renders and are for illustration purposes only. Before production, the keycaps undergo a rigorous approval process to ensure accuracy based on the designer's artistic vision. This means the digital renders shown will not perfectly match the final product.
