jdmckWhat a combo! It looks great! I love you went with the red trrs cable, gives it a nice accent. Are you doing anything with the spot on the left board?
I switched to Colemak and I still haven’t reached my fastest QWERTY typing speeds yet (I switched about 1 year ago). But I my fastest QWERTY speeds were 10+ yrs ago, so I would say that I have probably matched what I was typing when I made the switch. It definitely takes some deliberate practice, and I have been stuck at my current speed because I stopped deliberately practicing…
Beautiful keyboard by the way.
This came in a large range in colors. Here is my basic base kit with the VIM Keys child kit. I needed this kit in order to complete a TKL keyboard project I was working on. (It's a Coolermaster Masterkeys S with an Unloved Bastard after market QMK keyboard controller.) I almost knocked them down a notch for the difficulty installing the spacebar on Costar stabilizers (it kept slipping out), but I found some extra Costar stabilizers in a drawer that had slightly larger t-section in it and used those.

The VIM Child kit had enough keys to add vim arrows to another of my keyboards. The fonts match the keys on there nicely as well as match the space and enter keys I already had. In all, I was able to complete two boards and I am happy with the results.
Sail4seaOh sweet match up with Jamon! The Hagoromo VIM keys go great with it! Gonna have to see how the Hagoromo Cadet alphas go with it when I get my set (GIT base buyer, FML LOL! Should be getting it tomorrow though finally.).
Just received my order and it's incomplete. Ordered 2 regular base kits and the hagoromo alphas but only received 1 base kit and the alphas.
Edit: Customer service is sending me the missing base kit.
No surprises here, the colours are perfect and as an added bonus the Logitech M570 perfectly compliments the set. The delay was unfortunate but it was worth the wait for this classic colourway. Thanks @Oblotzky
this set doesn't seem to have the crisp legends previous sets did, especially in the hagomoro alpha set. comparing directly to gmk white on black, the f-keys seem to lack clarity, and the numpad "5" keys are inconsistent and almost seem splotchy. Additionally the hagomoro "Z" key appears to be misaligned. Overall very disappointed in GMK's manufacturing this time around. Red Samurai and WoB were both much better in terms of quality than this set. Maybe this will aid in the transition to JTK for some sets in the future. Still waiting for my "Hello, World!" fixed key too.
Not much to comment here, exactly what you would expect from a GMK set.
Matches the SP version pretty well.
The R3 Function key that can be used instead of Caps Lock and the various PgUp/PgDown/End variants for different rows are greatly appreciated. I wish more sets had them in the base kit.
Good keycap set, but mine came missing a key and Drop support were unhelpful
My Oblivion set came missing one of the back-slash keys. I asked Drop support to send out the missing key to me, however they said I could only mail my full set back to the US from Australia for a full refund or replacement (with no guarantee the replacement wouldn't be missing keys) or else a $20 refund..
I asked why they couldn't just take the missing key out of the replacement set they have in inventory and send me that, since they would end up with an opened set missing that key either way and it would guarantee me a completed set and avoid excess hassle with postage and wait times. I asked this three times and support wouldn't even acknowledge the question...
There have been a lot of reports of missing keys from this set from Drop and I didn't want to risk screwing around with overseas returns only to potentially get another set with more missing keys. As such, I ended up settling for the $20 refund since there is another key in the set that will work in the missing one's place..
zammin5Good for you its just a slash. For me its a letter. Missing letter N and having a double M. Such a failure. Too much money spent on a poor service.
