Wow, no Q&A section for this product. Is this keyboard hotswap? I guess the description never mentions it at all but it's kind of a deal breaker if it isn't hotswap.
I would like to hear something from massdrop or someone, cos this point for me I'm just a couple of day to cancel and buy it from amazon, I think for sure will arrive to my door before someone said something here about shpping date
I'm really contemplating whether I want to cancel my order right now. We blew right past the ship date with no promise of when they will actually ship.
I feel a little silly, when I got in on this drop I just kind of assumed that the top plate of this keyboard is aluminum because of the way the color and look of it, but the description doesn't say anything about it, and if it was aluminum they certainly would mention it because of the extra added cost and prestige of having aluminum construction (think massdrop ctrl and alt keyboards).
Now it seems obvious to me that the top plate is made out of gray painted plastic, oh well, it still looks nice and I'm still getting the cherry silent red switches, which are not available on the ctrl and alt keyboards. (at half the price)
mattstermhPeople seemed to be pretty happy with the non-backlit version on Amazon and the RGB one that was sold here before. If I hadn't missed that one, I'd probably be using it right now. Got one with silent reds to try and convert my pops. Will let you know!!!
Well, K320 will be my first mechanical keyboard. I went MX brown because want to feel the clicky sensation but dont wanna do too much noise. I hope picked right xD
rkmaxI'm using cherry browns on my current keyboard (Varmilo VA87M). I've used reds and blues before. Reds are smooth pressing all the way down. Browns feel similar, but there is just a bit of resistance at the actuation point. Blues make a loud audible click at the actuation point.
As far as noise goes, Reds and Browns are similarly quiet (I use o-rings for additional noise dampening). I'm in on this drop because I like the space gray looks of this keyboard and I got the silent red switches (my first keyboard with them), so I'm interested in just how quiet they will be. I stream on Twitch so I try to keep things quiet.
I really like how the Durgod products look. Was just a few weeks ago when I saw them the first time and couldn't find any to buy. Now there are a bunch haha. Too bad I probably can't get into this one. Really hate how Massdrop has to authorize the entire amount of a drop now. Used to be able to join and then when it was time money would be there.
