I meant to get the small one for my swim sessions-I somehow got the big one and its too big for any kind of gym/swim bag. Oh well, its sturdy and big enough for car trips...

No way of locking up your bag when traveling and shoulder strap is not good for carrying long distance very semple shoulder straps

Is this basically the TNF Base Camp? Are there any discernible difference? Curious as to whether this is better, worse, or the same.
solistcaThe construction and material are very similar to the TNF base camp.

$18 shipping is pretty rough. All up it’s the same price as a North Face Base Camp duffel locally. Work with your international customers a bit here.

Amazon has 2018 and 2019 versions of this... Know which one is being sold here and what the difference is?

Anybody know how much rain this "laminate coating" and zippers can handle?
EZ_livingThe material is waterproof. But water can get through the seams and zipper. It's definitely not submersible. But a light rain is no problem.

EZ_livingI have two of the large versions of this. Both have sat in pouring--and I mean POURING--rain for well over an hour and contents remained dry. Water pooled in a puddle underneath one (about 2-3 inches deep, I'd guestimate), but contents were dry. As Tyler pointed out, you cannot submerge the bag--it is not a dry bag--but it can handle rain no problem.
