Named for the Italian word for feather, the PIUMA fountain pen from Los Angeles–based Ensso is a study in functional simplicity. It’s precision-machined from a solid block of titanium and fitted with a German-made Bock #6 titanium nib. Every component has been carefully considered with usability (and no unnecessary frills) in mind. The interchangeable nib system screws inside the pen grip and rests a couple of millimeters inside to create a unibody appearance. The cap threads are wider to allow the fast opening and closing of the pen, and the millimetric-rounded gap defines the connection between the cap and body. Meant to last a lifetime or longer, the PIUMA is designed to be used without posting.
Note: At checkout, choose an extra-fine or medium nib.
