OhMyGodPancakesI wish they did! Won't buy headphones without removable cables. Otherwise would love a pair of these.

OhMyGodPancakesOnly the EMUs have the removable cable in this whole headphone line, that too after their revision and addition of the removable cable assembly. AND, the Fostex 610s and 900MKIIs. Though I find the EMU cable mechanism more solid (and it's metal, like the frame and not plastic, like the Fostex who took a page from the Sennheiser book).

OhMyGodPancakesThe thing about removable cables is that there is an extra place things can go wrong and there is an extra solder point involved that can cause issues with sound quality. I hear you tho. It's not a deal breaker IMO for how gorgeous these are and the price point.

OhMyGodPancakesYou should keep in mind, the 610 is not tuned or sounds exactly the same as the X00. I'm sure it's also a fine can, but it's not the same tuning, at all. Ask yourself this question : Can i easily use an adapter with these or do I need exotic connections involving XLR, balanced and what not ? I use this out of a tube amp where the 1/4" is perfect already for my needs.
