Just got mine, amateur review time! They're very light on the head, and don't seal as much as I would have expected, it feels rather open really, but very comfortable so far. My q701 and dt770's are pretty cozy, but these are light and airy on the head while still maintaining some cushyness, no worries at all about comfort. Head placement seems to have a noticeable affect, I'll have to play with that more. The bass response is a pleasant surprise, been noticing some details in songs that I hadn't before, particularly some more resolved detail in the low end, and certain subtle reverberations and details in the mids and highs. The highs are more tamed than my q701's, but it does seem less fatiguing in that sense, initially they felt a bit veiled but I'm slowly getting used to it. Using a Fiio E10 with the included 1/4" adapter, will definitely have to test more at home with different equipment.
Electronic music is definitely fun, the bass is dreamy, the depth and warmth of the bass of the th-x00 is lovely, very much present but not too overpowering. I loved my 770's for electronic music, but I think I found a new favorite. (https://soundcloud.com/arty_music/alpha-9-bliss-club-mix)
Live recordings sound superb, I'd say the soundstage is less than my q701, but depending on the recording it still sounds spacious, very impressive. (https://soundcloud.com/anberlinofficial/take-me-as-you-found-me-liv)
Don't want this to turn into a wall of text, but I could go on... Some songs sound a bit more 'fun' on my other headphones, probably due to having shriller highs that seem a bit veiled here, but they are still great sounding on these, noticeably more detail and a more relaxed sound. That's not to say the highs aren't present, but they don't 'cut through' as much as I'm used to. Very happy with these, I guess I didn't think there'd be much more detail to be found in my music, but seems I have some exploring to do :)
