Generic Surplus was founded in Los Angeles with a mission to impact modern shoe design while evoking the aesthetic of an ever changing, diverse urban life. Crafting fine footwear that matches the city’s fast paced art scenes, Generic Surplus blurs the line between casual comfort and formal sophistication. We’ve returned to their warehouse for the Generic Surplus Klein, a minimal oxford that captures an iconic style while remaining versatile enough to fit the individual who wears it.
The Klein’s upper sole is formed from high quality chambray, a cotton weave with colored warp fibers and white weft. The sole sits firmly upon a creme and brown colored rubber heel, boosting you prominently upward with a burst of colorful flair. Your feet, however, might forget you are even wearing shoes, as the leather lining and cushioned footbed provide a surprising amount of comfort from such a classy shoe.
The design is as timeless the shoe’s sturdy construction, which makes them incredibly reliable, comfortable, and durable. Reinforced stitching across the lower edges of the vamp prevent ripping, and metal eyelets keep the laces intact. Built to be as strong and enduring as the person who wears it, the Generic Surplus Klein exists as both a vintage oxford and a modern sneaker. At checkout, the Klein is available with either a Black or Seafoam chambray upper.
