I'm yet to witness shine on SA keycaps, safe to say it depends entirely on how you use/take care of the keycaps and hygiene.
The natural oils from the human skin is what actually deteriorates plastic over extensive use and years.

mookothekingI have a set of SA caps from this manufacturer. Yes, they have a bit of shine on them after heavy daily use. But they still look and feel great.
