Sad to see 0 people have bought this. The turqoise guilloche, especially as part of this set, would be THE gift for my gf, but sadly I have a few things going on right now and discretionary funds are tapped out :(

While Diplomat may be underrated, I couldn't see my way to buying this 'kit' anyway. That journal is not fountain-pen friendly (feathering and bleed-thru according to the sparse number of web reviews. As for FC Looms, eMotions, etc. these have some of the loveliest steel nibs on the planet.

Diplomat is badly underrated. However, the only way I was able to kick that GvFC craving was to own a couple. The Grenadilla and the Ebony. While I still consider them some of the most elegant pens ever made, I couldn't get over the rather smallish nib. You just expect more from a pen at this price. I let them go. I do still crave the Intuition, though...
