In the H10 there are two sets of op-amps (two dual in the rear near the inputs and two singles on the opposite side of the transformers) you can change them ("roll" them, which is just swapping them to tailor the sound to your preference) to alter the sound a bit more (not to say the stock op-amps are bad, since they are great). As mentioned previously I have a set dual/single op-amps coming my way to test out how drastic the change is/may be (I am pretty curious though).
While the H10 has a balanced input, it does not have a balanced output. On the back of the H10 there are two input options XLR (which are balanced) and the RCA(which are unbalanced).
